‘Bill and Ted Face The Music’ To Shoot June-August and Confirmed To Film In New Orleans

HN Entertainment has learned that the third film in the Bill and Ted saga titled Bill and Ted Face The Music will begin filming on June 24th and is expected to wrap on August 17th.

We can now confirm that filming will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Some of the production will also shoot in Los Angeles, California.

Alex Winter (The Lost Boys) and Keanu Reeves (John Wick, Matrix) will reprise their titular roles with William Sadler returning to play Death.

Plot details suggest a time traveler seeks out Bill and Ted’s help (a shadow of their younger selves) to write a song that saves all humankind and with the help of their daughters, they’ll have to find their former Wyld Stallyns selves to discover that lifesaving tune.

Galaxy Quest’s Dean Parisot will direct the follow-up to Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure/Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey. It sounds like the casting announcements for the secondary leads to play their daughters is just right around the corner.

Keanu Reeves is enjoying some much-deserved box office success with John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum expected to cross $200 million globally this weekend.

Orion/MGM officially announced Bill and Ted Face The Music would be released on August 21st, 2020 with some help from Alex and Keanu.
