A new rumor coming from Daniel Richtman’s Patreon page suggests that Marvel’s Moon Knight series will have a connection of sorts to Mahershala Ali’s Blade reboot movie.
The Moon Knight show will lead to Blade plot wise…
For whatever reason, Daniel’s Patreon page was unlocked making the tidbit public and wasn’t behind the usual paywall.
Take with a grain of salt as it is only a rumor at the moment.
There isn’t an expansion on that claim or how the projects might connect to each other.
We still don’t have a screenwriter or director for Blade, also when they plan to shoot/release the reboot focused on the Daywalker/Vampire Hunter.
A half-vampire named Eric Brooks aka Blade hunts vampires (without their weaknesses to silver and sunlight) and is out to avenge his mother’s death and rid the world of vampires. The modern-day technologically advanced vampires he is going after are in search of his special blood type needed to summon an evil god who plays a key role in their plan to execute the human race.
Marvel still hasn’t announced casting for Marc Spector/Moon Knight, but Jeremy Slater (Fantastic Four, Umbrella Company) will be the series head writer.
The hero is ostensibly Marc Spector, a mercenary who has numerous after egos – cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant – in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Most recently, he was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr. Knight.
There is a possibility that a villain or threat could connect the two supernatural anti-heroes.
