The acclaimed director confirmed the news during KCRW’s The Treatment podcast that the Netflix series Mindhunter is returning on August 16th.
“Yes, there is now [a date]. I’m not sure, I guess I’m allowed to say it, but, yeah, it’s gonna be the 16th.”
Mindhunter Season 2 finds Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, and Anna Torv returning as the criminal profiling unit that interview incarcerated serial killers for the FBI. The series first premiered in 2017 and was renewed shortly after.
