Michael Mando Teases Scorpion’s Return In Interview & Social Media – Will Mac Escape From Prison With The Vulture In ‘Morbius’?

There has been some fan speculation that Sony is slowly trying to put together The Sinister Six for an upcoming film.

However, when and where that could happen is big question mark at the moment.

Earlier in the week, during an interview with YouTuber Steve Varley, Spider-Man: Homecoming actor Michael Mando teased his potential return as Spider-Man villain Mac Gargan aka The Scorpion in the future.

MANDO: “There is a chance. There’s always a chance.”

He then echoed that tease again today on social media.

At the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, Mando’s Mac was pressuring Michael Keaton’s The Vulture for the real identity of Spider-Man as both of them ended up at the same prison.

In a scene featured in the trailer for Jared Leto’s upcoming Spider-Man spinoff film Morbius it seems to be revealed that Vulture and possibly Morbius have escape prison (there were set photos where Moribus is wearing a prison jumpsuit) as Vulture is wearing his prison uniform from Homecoming.

This seemingly primes audiences that Morbius connects to Spider-Man: Homecoming and potentially Spider-Man 3.

Also, if we do eventually get The Sinister Six that the cinematic lineup might reflect a different set of Spider-Man villains.

Spider-Man 3 is expected to begin shooting this summer under the working title of Serenity Now with a release date of July 16th, 2021.

Morbius will be released in July 31st and Venom 2 on October 2nd.
