Marvel’s ‘Moon Knight’ Series Adds ‘The Witcher’ Writer Beau DeMayo

The Witcher writer Beau DeMayo has added Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight series on Disney+ to his credits on his Twitter account

The hero is ostensibly Marc Spector, a mercenary who has numerous after egos – cabbie Jake Lockley and millionaire playboy Steven Grant – in order to better fight the criminal underworld. But later he was established as being a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Most recently, he was a consultant who dresses in all-white and goes by the name Mr. Knight.

DeMayo would join Umbrella Company’s Jeremy Slater on the show’s writing team.

Moon Knight is said to be shooting under the working title of Good Faith and is heading to film at Pinewood Studios UK, possibly starting at the end of summer or fall.

Some of the other Marvel characters rumored to be joining the MCU hard-canon series Stained Glass Scarlet, Jack Russell aka Werewolf By Night, Raoul Bushman, and Tomb of Dracula’s Dracula.

There were recent rumblings the show could have a connection to Mahershala Ali’s Blade reboot.

Marvel Studios has yet to announce an official actor that will be playing Marc Spector/Moon Knight.
