MCUCosmic has posted what could be the working title for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Moon Knight series, as they’ll be using the title Good Faith during the shoot.
A potential reference to the religious aspects of Marc Spector’s superhero origin being the son of a Rabbi turned mercenary and then getting his powers from an Egyptian god.
Moon Knight along with She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel were announced as Disney+ shows at D23 Expo and will follow-up the recent batch coming between 2020-2021.
Here are the recent working titles for the films and television shows from Marvel Studios.
- BLACK WIDOW – BLUE BAYOU
- ETERNALS – SACK LUNCH
- THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER – TAG TEAM
- LOKI – RIVER CRUISE
- WANDAVISION – BIG RED
This could mean that development on the series is likely already underway and we might be getting some announcements in the very near future. I believe the next step will be finding out who will be showrunning and starring in the series.
Avengers: Endgame screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have previously teased in interest with the character during San Deigo Comic-Con, but remains to be seen if they’ll be involved with this show.
We’re unlikely to see Moon Knight begin shooting until around late 2020 or sometime in 2021, giving them a window to release the series in 2022. Unless they plan on having it ready for Winter 2020.
