Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins celebrated the film’s release a year from now today with a brand new teaser poster showing up a fantastic new outfit for Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman via her Twitter account.

Patty also confirms that Warner Bros. won’t be showing up to Hall H to promote upcoming films, which will be certainly disappointing to attendees expecting to see some panels for Joker, Birds of Prey, and Wonder Woman 1984. Warner Bros. has been usually a studio that tends to have a solid release slate presentation and could give another studio a prime spot on Saturday during the event.

“By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official  campaign in full–  But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…”

I’m extremely excited to see Patty’s vision of the DC heroine in the 1980s along with Kristen Wiig as Cheetah and Pedro Pascal potentially as Max Lord. There is also plenty of speculation concerning the return of Chris Pine as Steve Trevor after dying in the original film.

Warner Bros. has given Wonder Woman 1984 the release date of June 4th, 2020 after it was originally set for this November.
