It looks like we know who will actually shoot The Batman, as TheHollywoodReporter has learned that cinematographer Greig Fraser has been added to the film’s production team and got confirmation from Fraser himself.
Fraser’s credits include Lucasfilm’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming Dune movie for Legendary/Warner Bros. along with previously working with director Matt Reeves on the horror flick Let Me In.
Cinematographer Greig Fraser, who earned an Oscar nomination for Garth Davis’ 2016 biographical drama Lion, is on board to shoot The Batman.
Matt Reeves also gave Greig a friendly shoutout on Twitter.
Hello, Mr. Fraser. 🦇

It had been previously rumored that Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and Kill Bill cinematographer Robert Richardson was attached until the man himself debunked to claim to THR.
Now, with Fraser hired it looks like all streams-ahead for The Batman!
Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse, Tenet) is set to play the new Bruce Wayne aka Batman.
The rogues gallery is rumored to include The Penguin, Catwoman, The Riddler, Harvey Dent aka Two-Face, and possibly Firefly as well.
Filming is expected to begin the first quarter of 2020.
Warner Bros. has given The Batman an official release date of June 25th, 2021.
