On the heels of the announcement over the weekend that Taika Waititi’s next project will be Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, he’s now dropped the first-look trailer for his WWII satire Jojo Rabbit on his Twitter account.
Thankfully, its in a proper aspect ratio.
From "Visionistical" director, Teeka Wachichi, here's a "teezer traylor", for my anti-hate satire, #JojoRabbit, in theaters October 18. @rebelwilson @alfieeallen #ThomasinMcKenzie #RomanGriffinDavis @stephenmerchant #samrockwell #scarlettjohansson @jojorabbitmovie #visionistical pic.twitter.com/8o8X8cyJTD

A World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother is hiding a young Jewish girl in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (which is actually a version of his father), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.
The cast includes Roman Griffin Davis, Taika Waititi, Thomasin McKenzie, Scarlett Johansson, Oscar-winner Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson, and Stephen Merchant.
Jojo Rabbit is set to be released on October 18th by Fox Searchlight.
