Watch The First Trailer For Fox’s ‘Kingsman’ Prequel ‘The King’s Man’ Starring Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson

20th Century Fox won’t be attending San Diego Comic-Con this week, but have dropped the first footage from their upcoming comic book flick The King’s Man today. The film directed by Matthew Vaughn is set to explore the origins of the Kingsman.

As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man.

In the trailer, it does look like we’re getting Rasputin as one of the film’s villains played by Rhys Ifans. I spotted Swiss-Israeli actor Joel Basman in the trailer as well, who HN Entertainment exclusively reported would be in the film.

The rest of the cast consists of Ralph Fiennes, Harris Dickinson, Gemma Arterton, Daniel Bruhl, Charles Dance, Stanley Tucci, Aaron Johnson, Djimon Hounsou, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, and Alexandra Maria Lara (also first reported by HN).

Matthew Vaughn has said that Kingsman 3 is expected to begin filming later this year or in early 2020, which would see Colin Firth and Taron Egerton return one more time.

The King’s Man has been given a release date of February 14th, 2020 by Disney/Fox.
