The next installment of Call of Duty has seemingly already won over a lot of the community with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer modes from the Beta weekends and they are finally giving fans a real glimpse at the game’s campaign mode with a brand new story trailer.
On October 25th, when the world is threatened, you’ll have to get your hands dirty so the world stays clean. In a desperate mission, Captain Price and the SAS will partner alongside the CIA and the Urzikstani Liberation Force to retrieve stolen chemical weapons. The heart-racing fight will take you from London to the Middle East and other global locations, as this joint task force battles to stop full-scale global war. Lines will be drawn, your resolve will be tested, and the world will look to you to do what needs to be done.
The campaign was pretty much tossed in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, so it’ll be interesting to see how fans react to the mode’s return.
Some of the interesting new aspects with this new release include Activision removing the Season Pass and making DLC essentially free. Although, purchasing cosmetics and microtransactions are still expected to be involved.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be released on October 25th.
