With every new Dragon Ball Z video game, we get, we receive a brand-new way of looking at the famous DBZ story. This year at E3, we received a closer look at a new DBZ game titled Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot that had been in the works for some time now.
What was teased initially as ‘Dragon Ball Project Z’ is now announced as Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Much like previous games like Dragon Ball: Xenoverse and Dragon Ball: FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot offers a brand-new look at the already much-beloved story of Goku and Friends.
The new twist this time around is that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot dives in DEEP into the DBZ story based off the anime. Players will be able to fly around the beautiful DBZ world at mighty speeds as you relive the story from the arrival of Raditz to Frieza’s downfall.
Look. I already know what most of you are thinking.
“Jordan, how many times are they going to make us play the same story over and over?”
WELL NOT ENOUGH IF YOU ASK ME!
This time around, the DBZ world will be based in an open-world game where players will get to experience every single side mission and detour Goku ever had throughout the show. Long gone are the days of swiftly finishing a DBZ story mode within 5 hours or less; finally, players can become Goku themselves and explore the world in Bandi Namco’s new action RPG, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
