It seems like a busy day for trailer drops as Warner Bros. has also released the final trailer for their Godzilla sequel Godzilla: King of The Monsters. In the trailer, it’s revealed that there are at least 17 different titans and that more are on the way. Sounds like the world is in need of a hero to help deal with the problem or a human device that could eradicate them. We also get a solid look at some of the fights between the titans.
The Godzilla sequel will lead into next year’s Godzilla vs Kong, which will see a handful of returning cast members. It’ll be interesting to see how they actually deal with 17 titans and if some will be back for Godzilla vs Kong.
Following the global success of “Godzilla” and “Kong: Skull Island” comes the next chapter in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ cinematic MonsterVerse, an epic action-adventure that pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Godzilla: King of The Monsters is set for release on May 31st.
