Updating from our previous crew story from May that Mission: Impossible – Fallout production designer Peter Wenham would be working on Skydance Media’s science fiction action film Ghost Draft, directed by The Lego Batman Movie’s Chris McKay and starring Chris Pratt (Guardians of The Galaxy, Jurassic World, Avengers: Infinity War).
HN can confirm from another source that Peter indeed part of the film’s creative team.
Yesterday, HN Entertainment confirmed in a report that Pulp Fiction and Green Book costume designer Betsy Heimann is on Ghost Draft too.
Filming is said to take place this September-January in Atlanta, Georgia (confirmed location).
Chris Pratt is in high-demand lately with James Gunn’s Guardians of The Galaxy 3 and Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World 3 are expected to be his next big studio projects.
Director Chris McKay had been previously attached for the DC Comics movie Nightwing and Paramount’s Dungeons and Dragons movie before pivoting to Ghost Draft.
A husband and father is drafted to fight a future war in which the fate of humanity may rely on his ability to correct issues of the past.
We’ve learned that Paramount Pictures is expected to distribute/co-finance the film, but have yet to announce a release date.
