Deadline reports that the first new addition to the Jurassic World sequel Jurassic World 3 has been found.
They say that rising actor Mamoudou Athie has landed a lead role in the dino adventure flick.
Mamoudou Athie, who currently co-stars on the Facebook series, Sorry for Your Loss, has landed a lead role in Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World 3. He’s set to star opposite returning cast members Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum.
He’ll be next seen in 20th Century Fox’s Underwater starring Kristen Stewart set to be released on January 10th.
HN Entertainment had previously confirmed that filming on Jurassic World 3 will be taking place at Pinewood Studios UK in England.
It is expected to begin shooting in the first quarter of 2020.
Returning cast members include Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern.
Jurassic World’s Colin Trevorrow is back as director and co-wrote the script with Emily Carmichael.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom saw the destruction of the island and leaving surviving dinosaurs roaming free in the United States.
Universal Pictures has given Jurassic World 3 a release date of June 10th, 2021.
