Sam Claflin (Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, The Hunger Games) has joined the call sheet for Legendary’s upcoming Enola Holmes movie according to TheHollywoodReporter.
The mystery flick is starring Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) as the sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes. Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The Witcher) was recently revealed as playing Enola’s brother Sherlock Holmes. Others filling out the cast include Harry Potter actresses Helena Bonham Carter (The King’s Speech, Fight Club) and Fiona Shaw (Killing Eve).
It will be directed by Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag) with a script from Jack Throne (His Dark Materials).
The mystery involves a missing teen whose father has been murdered.
Millie is continuing her established relationship with Legendary Entertainment as she recently starred in Godzilla: King of The Monsters and reprises that role in next year’s Godzilla vs Kong.
Claflin plays the main villain in the Australian thriller The Nightingale from director Jennifer Kent (The Babadook).
Legendary has yet to give Enola Holmes an official release date but will likely drop sometime in 2020.
