Earlier this month, it was first revealed by GeekVibesNation that Oscar-nominated production designer Eve Stewart may have joined Marvel Studios’ The Eternals.
HN Entertainment can now confirm from our own sourcing that Eve Stewart is indeed working on The Eternals.
Eve’s impressive credits include Les Miserables, The King’s Speech, The Danish Girl, The Girl In The Spider’s Web, Muppets Most Wanted, A Cure For Wellness, and the upcoming musical Cats.
We previously confirmed that filming will primarily take place at Pinewood Studios UK, where Cate Shortland’s Black Widow is also filming over the summer.
Chloe Zhao (The Rider) will be directing from a script penned by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.
Angelina Jolie (Wanted, Alexander, Maleficent), Richard Madden (Game of Thrones, Bodyguard, Rocketman), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Silicon Valley), and Dong-soek Ma (Train To Busan) are reportedly taking lead roles in the Marvel movie.
The Eternals has yet to be officially announced by Marvel Studios but is likely being released on November 6th, 2020.
There is an expectation that with Marvel Studios reportedly returning for San Diego Comic-Con next month, that Kevin Feige will reveal details for The Eternals along with a couple of other projects in Phase 4. Hopefully, we’ll get some concept art and possibly casting announcements during the presentation.
