Wind River writer-director Taylor Sheridan’s (Hell or High Water, Sicario, Sicario: Day of Soldado) next film will be an adaptation of the novel Those Who Wish Me Dead which reportedly stars Angelina Jolie, Nicholas Hoult, Tyler Perry, and newcomer Finn Little.
Based on Michael Koryta’s novel about a 14-year-old boy who witnesses a brutal murder, is issued a false identity and hidden in a wilderness skills program for troubled teens while the killers are slaughtering anyone who gets in their way in a methodical quest to reach him.

HN Entertainment has confirmed that they are planning on shooting the thriller in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A location previously used for films such as Hell or High Water, Sicario, Sicario: Day of Soldado, No Country For Old Men, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Lone Survivor, and Only The Brave.
TheHollywoodReporter revealed that the film begins shooting this month in New Mexico.
We also recently revealed that stunt coordinator Wade Allen (Wind River, Barry, Hotel Artemis) has joined the film’s production team.
Angelina Jolie is expected to shoot the thriller before Marvel’s The Eternals directed by Chloe Zhao and begins filming in the UK starting in September.
A release date for Those Who Wish Me Dead has yet to be announced.
