We might have some new information about one of the upcoming MCU films as new production information via ProductionWeekly for Sony/Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.

The grid says the film will begin shooting July and could wrap by November with locations to include Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York City, and Iceland.

If true, the latter would be interesting filming location considering that Peter Parker was framed as the murderer of Mysterio by J. Jonah Jameson and his secret identity outed to the public.

People have assumed that Iceland could be doubling Russia with the assumption that this could mean Kraven The Hunter might be coming, however, the locale could mean anything at this point as Kraven is a globetrotter and is mostly known for being connected with various places in Africa (hence the lion costume).

Iceland would make a good remote location for someone hiding from the NYPD/FBI while trying to clear their name.

We still don’t know who will ultimately be the film’s villain.

Director Jon Watts is officially returning along with Tom Holland back as Spider-Man and Marvel Studios back to make the film keeping it set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It’ll be interesting to see how Happy Hogan reacts to the news.

The recent Morbius trailer revealed the upcoming Spider-Man spinoff will direct connect to Homecoming and Far From Home with Michael Keaton’s Vulture showing up at the end during what looks like some sort of prison break.

Spider-Man 3 is set for release on July 16th, 2021.
