The DC film Shazam! is upcoming, and fans might be able to expect a trailer as soon as next weekend. The cinematographer of the film, Maxime Alexandre tweeted “#shazam Look for the Shazam! trailer to drop Saturday, July 21 at Comic-Con as well at the DC Films panel.” The tweet included the movie’s first official image, which Alenandre included in an Instagram post, but later deleted it. Regardless, fans might want to pay attention to the Warner Bros. panel at Comic-Con.

Directed by David F. Sandberg and starring Zachary Levi, the film follows the story of 14 year old Billy Batson, who gains the power to turn into a grown up superhero with the use of a magic word. Alec Asher will play the 14-year old version of Batson, with Levi starring as the grown up version. Levi was previously in the 2017 Marvel film Thor: The Dark World as the role of Asgardian warrior Fandral. The film has also cast Kingsman star Mark Strong as the primary villain. Shazam! will hit theaters on April 9, 2019.
