A slightly gruesome scene from Avengers: Endgame was cut, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely revealed during their panel at San Diego Comic-Con that Thanos (from 2014) was going to arrive the Avengers Compound with the corpses of the Avengers (from 2012) and it was inspired by Mark Millar’s Old Man Logan comic book.

It sounds like a really dark scene even darker than you’d expect Marvel would be willing to go, then again, they were looking to push MCU boundaries with these two movies. Unlike the Living Tribunal and Smart Hulk/Cull scenes this one, I’m okay that they didn’t end up doing.
Curious to see if Markus/McFeely will return to the MCU anytime soon.
