While it’s unconfirmed at the time who the character at the center will be, insiders say there is a strong possibility that the film will be based on the Madame Web comic-book character.
Adding that their is neither a screenwriter or actor involved.
There are a bunch of other projects in the works at Sony Pictures other than Madame Web featuring Spider-Man characters those include Kraven The Hunter, Jackpot, Nightwatch, Silk, and there had been rumblings of a possible Spider-Woman film that could have the involvement of Marvel Studios.
Silver & Black was reportedly split into two films with Black Cat and Silver Sable getting solo films instead of being paired together. Former director Gina Prince-Bythewood teased recently that the project might end up going to Disney+ as a series instead of a feature film.
