Take the following with a grain of salt, but our pal Brian Cameron from FanthaTracks has some interesting intel concerning a third Star Wars series that could be prepping to shoot in the United Kingdom, most likely at Pinewood Studios UK. They also suggest that another film is in the works that might just be the first installment of Rian Johnson’s new Star Wars trilogy.

Cameron has some connections on the UK side of things, so it’s worth considering as he’s been able to help me with some previous Star Wars stories at OmegaUnderground.

You can read their original reporting below.

Tonight we can reveal that the third as yet unannounced Star Wars TV series will be shot in the UK under the production name of SERIES III PRODUCTIONS (UK) LIMITED which was registered on the public UK companies register on the 12th October 2018.  We anticipate that the focal point of the series will be revealed at Star Wars Celebration in April.

Registered on the exact same day was E&E INDUSTRIES (UK) LIMITED which we understand will be the first film from the planned Rian Johnson trilogy.

Rian recently came out to publicly debunk that he would be leaving his trilogy and there have been multiple series rumors making the rounds recently such as a Kenobi series. Including our own list at HN Entertainment that includes characters like Rose Tico, a young Princess Leia, Captain Phasma, The Knights of Ren, and Darth Bane possibly getting their own series in the future.

Keep in mind, large film productions such as Bond 25 and Black Widow will be filming at the Pinewood Studios UK facility over the spring/summer.

The only two shows that have been officially announced and confirmed by Lucasfilm at the moment is The Mandalorian (recently wrapped production) which is set to be released this fall on Disney+ and the Cassian Andor prequel series starring Diego Luna, which won’t begin filming until Luna completes filming on Season 2 of Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico and it’s already been reported that the Andor series is expected to begin filming in October.

There is a slim chance this untitled third series could begin filming before the Andor series, but that is just a guess at the moment.
