We’re all trying to figure out what is next for Quentin Tarantino as Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is expected to be his second-last feature film.
While speaking with HappySadConfused podcast, Tarantino has resurrected the chance of making Kill Bill 3 after downplaying it a while back. Revealing that he recently spoke with Uma Thurman about the project last week.
TARANTINO: “Me and Uma have talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth. I have thought about it a little further. We were talking about it literally last week. If any of my movies were going to spring from my other movies, it would be a third Kill Bill.”
Some of the previous details about the possible third film teased by Quentin included people she wronged in those two movies coming back for revenge, including surviving members of the Crazy 88, a blind Elle Driver, and Verinta Green’s grown daughter Nikkia Bell.
I think he could get away with making Kill Bill 3 a miniseries as that might happen if he ends up doing Paramount’s Star Trek movie. As he’s priming a black-and-white series titled Bounty Law based on the fictional series from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood starring DiCaprio’s Rick Dalton as Jake Cahill.
Quentin loves talking about what-ifs and normally they don’t happen until he makes the announcement, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much with this new talk. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood came out of leftfield, given he had been talking up a gangster/bank robbery project that never came together.
