It was just reported that production on Blumhouse’s new film Vengeance in New Mexico would be suspended, a film written and directed by B.J. Novak (The Office, Inglourious Basterds).
We’ve been able to get some plot details on the project.
Vengeance will focus on a radio host (Novak) from New York City attempts to solve the murder of his girlfriend and travels down south to investigate the circumstances of her death and discover what happened to her.
Novak is playing the lead role of Ben Manalowitz, Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, The Predator, Logan) playing Ty Shaw, and Ashton Kutcher also has in a key role.
Hopefully, production will resume soon.
Blumhouse is coming off from a successful opening with The Invisible Man and reports they’ll be making a modern Dracula movie with Jennifer’s Body director Karyn Kusama attched.
They’re also working on two sequels to their Halloween revival.
