Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty installment coming out this fall was officially announced today and as the leaks suggested will be titled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
They also announced that the new game will be released on October 25th and the trailer revealed the return of Captain Price. The latter would suggest the game would be a continuation of previous Modern Warfare games.
Developer Infinity Ward had been taking a lot of flack from fans for the quality of their last two games with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare thought to be slightly underwhelming. There had been growing call from the community to see the return to strong storytelling and boots-on-the-ground multiplayer.
