Variety reports that Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road) and Tyler Perry (Gone Girl) have taken undisclosed roles in Taylor Sheridan’s next film Those Who Wish Me Dead, which stars Angelina Jolie with Sheridan writing and directing.
Based on Michael Koryta’s novel about a 14-year-old boy who witnesses a brutal murder, is issued a false identity and hidden in a wilderness skills program for troubled teens while the killers are slaughtering anyone who gets in their way in a methodical quest to reach him.
UPDATE: TheHollywoodReporter adds that Aussie newcomer Finn Little will take the lead role of a young boy who witnesses the murder.
Relative newcomer Finn Little will star opposite Angelina Jolie in Those Who Wish Me Dead, the gritty survival thriller from Hell or High Water writer-turned-director Taylor Sheridan.
Sheridan is best known for writing Hell or High Water, Sicario, Sicario: Day of The Soldado, and Wind River, the latter was his directorial debut.
Taylor is known for solid action in his movies and it looks like that will continue with his next film. HN Entertainment has also learned the film has added stunt coordinator Wade Allen, who previously worked with director Taylor Sheridan on Wind River and his television series Yellowstone. Other credits include Hotel Artemis and HBO’s Barry.
Angelina Jolie is attached for a role in Marvel’s The Eternals and Hoult’s next film will be Dark Phoenix which releases on June 7th
Those Who Wish Me Dead has yet to be given an official release date.
