Fans of the Alien franchise have had a tough time since the release of last year’s Covenant. The film failed to connect with audiences and critics alike, and was a disappointment at the worldwide box office. But it seems like something interesting is in the works for 2019.
Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the popular franchise, and many are speculating Fox has big things planned for the annual Xenomorph celebration.
We already know about several expanded universe projects in the works like Aliens: Resistance, a novelization of Alien: Isolation, a young adult novel, and rumors of a live-action series set within the universe.
The official Alien Anthology social media accounts have recently posted several cryptic dossiers, uncovering the secret history of Weyland-Yutani, the evil corporation hell bent on studying the deadly creatures.
