AMC has finally revealed the title for their third series under ‘The Walking Dead’ television franchise, titled The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Debuting in Spring 2020, the series is set a decade after the initial zombie outbreak occured. This will help the series follow characters who have grown up in such an environment instead of survivors learning how to adapt.
The lead character Elizabeth is played by Julia Ormond with the rest of the cast consisting of Aliyah Royale as Iris, Annet Mahendru as Huck, Alexa Mansour as Hope, Nicolas Cantu as Elton, Hal Cumpston as Silas and Nico Tortorella as Felix. The series was created by Scott M. Gimple and Matthew Negrete.
The series, set ten years after the apocalypse, will feature two young female protagonists and focus on “the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad.”
