For months there had been a prevailing unsourced online rumor that Millie Bobby Brown would be taking a key role in Chloe Zhao’s The Eternals, the next Marvel Studios film franchise expected to begin filming this September in the United Kingdom.
However, Millie Bobby Brown has now denied any involvement with the project during a red carpet interview with FabTV for Godzilla: King of The Monsters. Her reaction to the question might give you all the confirmation you need to know as she doesn’t seem to be aware of what the project even is.
BROWN: “What is that?… Oh no, that’s a waste of time. I would really tell you straight up if I was, but no.”
You can watch the video of the exchange below, thanks to FabTV.
Millie is busy as it is with Legendary’s Enola Holmes being her next feature film project shooting this summer in the United Kingdom. There is also an expectation that the fourth season of Stranger Things could be announced sometime soon as well.
Reportedly The Eternals cast, however, will include Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden (The Bodyguard, Game of Thrones, Rocketman), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Men In Black: International, Silicon Valley, Stuber), and South Korean actor Dong-seok Ma (Train To Busan).
A release date for The Eternals has yet to be made official by Marvel Studios.
