Her credits include MCU movies such as Thor, The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Guardians of The Galaxy, and Doctor Strange.
The Eternals should have some crazy costumes given that the characters are god-like and cosmic, hopefully, they’ll be taking cues from the original Jack Kirby designs. The film is also expected to take place thousands of years in the past.
The team are descendants of a sect of early man that had their DNA tinkered with by cosmic beings The Celestials (introduced in Guardians of The Galaxy) to become god-like superbeings with various superpowers.
Byrne would be joining a crew that is confirmed to include cinematographer Ben Davis (Captain Marvel, Guardians of The Galaxy) and production designer Eve Stewart (Cats, The Girl In The Spider’s Web).
Chloe Zhao is set to direct with Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden reportedly part of the cast.
Filming is expected to begin this September at Pinewood Studios UK.
Marvel Studios has yet to give The Eternals an official release date, but the assumption currently is that it’ll be released on November 6th, 2020.
