Two more actors have joined Matt Reeves’ DC Comics film The Batman, which is currently shooting.
TheAVClub reports that twin actors Charlie and Max Carver have taken unknown roles in the summer blockbuster, but the size of those parts remain to be seen.
From the supernatural to superhero: Teen Wolf stars Charlie and Max Carver are the latest actors to join director Matt Reeves’ upcoming The Batman. The A.V. Club can confirm the twins—who first starred together on Desperate Housewives before Teen Wolf and The Leftovers—will be featured in the movie alongside Robert Pattinson as Batman, but production is keeping any other details under the cowl for now.
There have been some teases online the Carver Twins could be playing Dumfree and Deever Tweed aka Tweedledee and Tweedledum in the film, although, not confirmed.
Filming under the working title of Vengeance is currently underway in Scotland.
We recently got some sweet set photos from Scotland that showed-off a stuntman wearing the full Batman suit with the batcycle.
The pair of actors will join Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton aka The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD’s James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin, and Gil Perez-Abraham in an undisclosed role.
It’s expected to be the first installment of a planned trilogy from Matt Reeves.
Warner Bros. has given The Batman a release date of June 25th, 2021.
