Another cast member has joined the cast of Marvel’s Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson. According to TheHollywoodReporter, David Harbour has taken an undisclosed role in the comic book film. Harbour is best known for his leading role in Netflix’s Stranger Things and recently replacing Ron Perlman as Hellboy.
Stranger Things star David Harbour is joining Scarlett Johansson in Black Widow, Marvel’s standalone feature on the Avengers spy-turned-super heroine.
David also had a small part in WB’s Suicide Squad, other credits include The Equalizer, Revolutionary Road, Black Mass, End of Watch, and recently co-starred with Chris Hemsworth in the action flick Dhaka produced by the Russo Brothers.
Florence Pugh (The Little Drummer Girl) recently was added the film’s cast as a fellow female spy.
Filming will begin this June at Pinewood Studios UK.
Marvel Studios has yet to announce Black Widow’s official release date but is expected to be out on May 1st, 2020.
