Marvel Studios’ Streaming Series ‘Vision and The Scarlet Witch’ Coming Next Year

Marvel Studios is moving forward with a wave of Marvel Cinematic Universe connected streaming series for Disney+, they include shows focusing on characters such as Loki, Scarlet Witch, and Falcon/Bucky Barnes. The Loki series is confirmed to see the return of Tom Hiddleston as the god of mischief.

There is now an update concerning the Elizabeth Olsen show focusing on her Avenger character Scarlet Witch. Deadline has not only confirmed that Vision will be part of the Scarlet Witch show, but they’ve also revealed the official title and that it should be ready to be released in 2019. Scarlet Witch and Vision were both first introduced to Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Also getting an upgrade: Marvel Studios star Elizabeth Olsen has played Scarlet Witch as a supporting character in four films to date. The character will be a title character for the first time next year with the launch of Vision and the Scarlet Witch, a Disney+ streaming series.

This certainly confirms the previous reporting from SlashFilm that Paul Bettany’s Vision would have a co-leading role in the streaming series.

It’s expected the show could lean towards the romantic relationship to two heroes share in the comics. The assumption also here is that Vision and The Scarlet Witch should be ready for when the Disney+ streaming service launched next fall. The Mandalorian is expected to be ready for next fall as well for the launch.

Could they tackle a version of the House of M storyline?

Recent rumblings have suggested a Rocket Raccoon and Groot series could be coming as well, although, not confirmed.
