Charles Murphy (Murphy’s Law Podcast) has been teasing a new Marvel Studios project on his Twitter account.

HN Entertainment was able to uncover that project’s info that might suggest this is actually going to be part of a string of planned movies, not just a one-off that could land sequels.

An interesting thing about Limbo is that it will be the first in a wave of installments, a possible brand new film trilogy. I say film trilogy because normally you don’t see I, II, or III next to one of these company names unless there are multiple installments similar to Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, and Ant-Man.

What the trilogy could be is up to debate, one of the best options would be Fantastic Four (thinking about projects Marvel would want to plan out trilogies off-the-bat before seeing box office) or something cosmic related as a three-film arc could lead directly into one of the next big event films.

Fantastic Four’s villains could certainly be where the next Thanos could be developed as a reason for all the MCU heroes to team-up again.

Also, a Fantastic Four trilogy could easily be where supporting heroes such as Namor The Sub-Mariner, Silver Surfer, and The Inhumans (a rebooted MCU version) could easily appear in given their direct connections to the team along with Spider-Man and Black Panther.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this one shakes out.
