While we got a glimpse of teaser images and logos for Marvel Studios streaming series for WandaVision/Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we didn’t get one for the Loki series with Tom Hiddleston reprising the role.
Well, the official Disney site has posted images from the Investors Day presentation from April and they happened to include a promo image for Loki revealing the logo during Kevin Feige talking about the Disney+ shows that Marvel Studios will be handling.
Under the logo, there is a teaser image that shows Loki somewhere in 1975 (New York City?), as Jaws is playing at a theater in the background and is directly linked to that year.
Due to the events of Avengers: Endgame the series is expected to take place in a different version of events that took place after the original Avengers as he disappeared with the Tesseract. There is an expectation that we’ll see Loki in various eras and historical dates in the show and the 1975 setting would certainly help support that tidbit.
Rick and Morty writer Michael Waldron was revealed by TheHollywoodReporter as joining the series back in February.
We currently don’t know when and where the Loki series will shoot.
