Marvel Studios Has Films Planned Until 2024

With a franchise a massive as the Marvel Cinematic Universe, people will always want to know what’s next a long as it’s popular. This tends to come at odds with Marvel’s relative secrecy when it comes to its future endeavors. However, some information has managed to emerge recently about some potential future Marvel Studios projects. When Kevin Feige was asked to verify some of Phase 4, he actually gave some of an idea of how far ahead Marvel really is.

During an interview with Birth.Movies.Death, they asked him if he could reveal some of Phase 4 slate, like had been done with Phase 3. Feige had this to say:

“Obviously people are aware of Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Guardians 3, which James [Gunn] gets into prep on very soon. Outside of that, we like the idea of having the world do what we’re doing, which is focusing on the immediate future. Once that happens, we will – I don’t know that we’ll do exactly the same kind of thing, that many years out – but there are secret vaulted doors in Marvel Studios that lead to essentially what we’ll be doing between now and 2024”

He also talked a bit about the Black Widow and how they’ve started to “engage on certain developmental levels” on it. During this he mentioned that the films that “bubble up to the top are the ones people have heard of.” This could mean that some of the rumored films are actually true, like Hawkeye.

In this interview, it seems that some of the hesitation of not releasing a new slate like had been done before is because they didn’t fulfill their promise of making all the films they wanted last time, like Inhumans for example. Plus. things tend to chance as time goes on. But for now anyway, past 2019, Marvel has 5 years’ worth of films planned out.
