HN Entertainment has been able to confirm that director Guy Ritchie will be reuniting with Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels (Guy’s breakout film) costume designer Stephanie Collie on his upcoming action-thriller Cash Truck starring Jason Statham.

The film is an English remake of the 2004 French film Le Convoyeur.

Statham stars as H, a cold and mysterious character working at a cash-truck company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week. Weaving through a carefully constructed narrative, the film shifts across timelines and among various characters’ perspectives.

Collie’s credits include Matthew Vaughn’s Layer Cake, Peaky Blinders, the recent Hellboy reboot, London Has Fallen, and Simon Kinberg’s female-centric spy flick 335.

We previously revealed that the production team would include cinematographer Alan Stewart (Aladdin, The Gentlemen) and production designer Martyn John (The Last Kingdom).

Filming on Cash Truck will be taking place in both Los Angeles, California and London, England.

Joining Statham in the cast lineup includes Holt McCallany (Alien 3, Fight Club, Mindhunter), and Scott Eastwood (Fate of The Furious, Fury, Suicide Squad, Pacific Rim: Uprising), Jeffrey Donovan (Fargo, Sicario, Sicario: Day of The Soldado), Laz Alonso (Avatar, and Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbor).

Cash Truck is currently without an official release date.

Guy’s recent Disney flick Aladdin earned over a billion dollars at the global box office and is returning to roots with his upcoming release.

Ritchie’s next movie will be the London-set crime flick The Gentlemen starring Matthew McConaughey and Charlie Hunnam that will be out on January 24th, 2020.

THE GENTLEMEN follows American expat Mickey Pearson (Matthew McConaughey) who built a highly profitable marijuana empire in London. When word gets out that he’s looking to cash out of the business forever it triggers plots, schemes, bribery and blackmail in an attempt to steal his domain out from under him (featuring an all-star ensemble cast including Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell, and Hugh Grant).
