Legendary TV Developing ‘Sin City’ Series – Frank Miller & Robert Rodriguez To Produce

Frank Miller recently worked with the streaming giant Netflix for their Arthurian series Cursed and seemingly has a television itch he needs to scratch.

Miller has made a deal with Legendary TV to develop a new series based on the comic book legend’s Sin City books with Robert Rodriguez set to produce according to TheHollywoodReporter.

Legendary TV has struck a deal with Sin City author Frank Miller to adapt the comics as a TV series.

The deal gives Legendary the rights to develop a series based on Miller’s film noir-influenced comics, with the indie studio guaranteeing a first season for the show pending distribution with a network or streaming outlet. Robert Rodriguez, who directed the 2005 movie based on the comics, is close to a deal to executive produce.

The deal also includes an animated prequel series set in the world of Sin City.

It’ll be interesting where the series will end up and our money would be that it’ll end up heading to a streaming service.

I’m slightly curious if Robert Rodriguez will get involved as a director on the series.

Legendary TV is also behind the upcoming HBO Max series Dune: The Sisterhood along with the Lost In Space reboot, Carnival Row, and The Expanse.
