‘Kill Bill’ and ‘Inglourious Basterds’ Cinematographer Robert Richardson Might Be Working On Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman’ Next

A new tweet from GeekVibesNation may have revealed that longtime Quentin Tarantino cinematographer Robert Richardson is going to next work with director Matt Reeves on his solo Batman movie for Warner Bros.

As posted by ProductionWeekly.

Richardson’s credits include Kill Bill, Inglourious Basterds, The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, Casino, Shutter Island, Hugo, Platoon, Natural Born Killers, Bringing Out The Dead, and this summer’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

At the very least The Batman might end up one of the prettiest DC Comics movies ever made.

Filming is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2020 with Robert Pattinson (Tenet, The Lighthouse) in the lead role of Bruce Wayne.

Matt Reeves is also penning the film’s script.

The rogues gallery is rumored to include The Penguin, Catwoman, The Riddler, Harvey Dent, and Firefly.

There is an assumption that the rest of the film’s cast will be announced by the fall if not sooner.

Warner Bros. has given The Batman a release date of June 25th, 2021.
