Endgame’ Art Director Jim Barr – Working Title Expected To Be ‘Arcadia’

HN Entertainment has been able to confirm that Jurassic World 3 has added art director Jim Barr to the growing production team currently being assembled in England.

Barr’s credits include Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and most recently working on Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow solo movie.

We were previously able to confirm that filming will be taking place at Pinewood Studios UK next year the same facility used to shoot Star Wars and the James Bond movies.

The last two productions that Jim Barr worked on were shot at the facility.

There is also word that the project might be using the working title of Arcadia, a Greek word which means Upotia and was previously used in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as the ship ferrying captured dinosaurs to the mainland was named Arcadia.

Arcadia, California is also a city outside of Los Angeles, the state that Lockwood Manor resides and where the dinosaurs were released into the wild.

Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow returns with a cast that includes Chris Pratt (Guardians of The Galaxy, Avengers: Infinity War), Bryce Dallas Howard (Black Mirror, Spider-Man 3), Sam Neill (Jurassic Park, Event Horizon, Thor: Ragnarok), Laura Dern (Jurassic Park, Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Jeff Goldblum (Thor: Ragnarok, The Grand Budapest Hotel), and the newest addition Mamoudou Athie (Underwater, The Circle) reportedly taking a lead role.

Sequel’s script was written by Colin and Emily Carmichael (Pacific Rim: Uprising, Battle At Big Rock).

Universal Pictures has set Jurassic World 3’s release date for June 10th, 2021.

The short takes place one year after the events of the last Jurassic World film in Big Rock National Park, where dinosaurs are now living in our world. The story follows a family of four whose encounter with these wild animals becomes a terrifying fight for survival.
