Prepare to enter another dimension with brand new casting details from the upcoming reboot of The Twilight Zone.
It was announced on Monday that John Cho (Searching, The Exorcist, Harrold and Kumar Go To White Castle), Allison Tolman (Fargo) and Jacob Tremblay (Room, Wonder) have joined the upcoming series remake. The three stars will appear in an episode titled The Wunderkind, which means wonder child or child prodigy.
Cho, Tolman, and Tremblay join a stellar list of previously announced cast members including host and narrator Jordan Peele in addition to Sanaa Lathan, Adam Scott, and Kumail Nanjiani.
The series will be produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films. Jordan Peele, Simon Kinberg, and Marco Ramirez will serve as executive producers for the series and collaborate on the premiere episode. Win Rosenfeld and Audrey Chon will also serve as executive producers.
The original Twilight Zone series first premiered in 1959 and ran through 1964. The series became a worldwide phenomenon due to its out-of-this-world storytelling structure. The series has become a classic in television history bringing to life creepy and interesting tales which are endlessly referenced in today’s modern film and television.
The Twilight Zone reboot will air on CBS All Access.
