There has been some conflicting information concerning the production start dates for some of the upcoming Marvel Studios shows for Disney+ filming in Atlanta, Georgia and Hawkeye is no different.
We’ve seen information posted online that suggests that filming could begin taking place either this summer and more recently in the fall.
A new tease from Jeremy Renner might suggest filming could begin sooner than the fall/winter.
Jeremy Renner is seemingly about to begin training or prep for the series as he posted this teaser image on his Instagram stories.
Marvel Studios may seek another actress to play Clint Barton’s protege Kate Bishop after there seemed to be a hiccup with casting Oscar-nominee Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Bumblebee) due to her Apple TV+ contract for her series Dickinson.
Then again, things could work out and we won’t know for sure until Marvel makes an official casting announcement concerning the role.
The series is expected to take place post-Avengers: Endgame.
A director has yet to be announced as well.
Mad Men writer Jonathan Igla is currently working on the series.
Hawkeye is set to begin airing on Disney+ in 2021, originally eyeing a spot in next fall.
