Call of Duty’s next game coming out in the fall is being handled by Infinity Ward. The game studio’s communications manager Ashton Williams has posted a teaser tweet on Twitter starting the speculation what they’ll be releasing, some assuming it’ll be a sequel to an existing release.

The studio’s last installment was futuristic Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare that took place mostly off-world and in outer space, a sequel could happen but many believe it could be a sequel to an older release.
Most fans are assuming it could Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, as they recently released a remastered version of Modern Warfare 2 for the current generation of consoles.
However, a lot of the stuff Ashton has been posting on her Twitter account recently includes a bunch gifs of ghosts and skeletons, which suggests that we might just be seeing Call of Duty: Ghosts 2, a sequel to the 2013 game Call of Duty: Ghosts. A game that wasn’t terribly well received, but could be given another shot if it has boots on the ground gunplay in single player and multiplayer.

An announcement trailer with the official title confirmation should be around the corner (if the title doesn’t leak earlier than that) as the release date will be sometime in the fall.
