Now that Incredibles 2 has had a successful run in 2018, writer and director, Brad Bird is ready to move on to a new project. While very few details have been released, he did tease it’s a musical.
In a quick interview with Variety, Bird says he’s working on something that he’s wanted to do for a long time and that it’ll be a musical. And who will be doing the music? None other than composer Michael Giacchino. Giacchino have Bird have previously collaborated with Giacchino composing the scores for both Incredibles and Incredibles 2.
Bird also goes on to say that it’s an original project and that there’s about 20 minutes of animation in it. At this time, there’s no mention of whether or not Bird is working for Disney, another studio, or independently.
