The man behind a famous mask has a face. Henry Golding is in talks to headline Paramount’s G.I. Joe film Snake Eyes, according to THR.
Golding would play Snake Eyes himself, the silent but deadly ninja commando who’s a staple of the G.I. Joe property. The film will see his origin story play out as he becomes the legendary character people know and love.
The actor broke ground with WB’s Crazy Rich Asians last year and is set to lead a romantic comedy alongside Emilia Clarke, titled Last Christmas, this November.
Robert Schwentke (RED) is directing from a script by Evan Spiliotopoulos. Principal photography is expected to commence in Vancouver during the fall.
Snake Eyes hits theaters on October 16th, 2020.
