Filming has completed on Paramount’s G.I. Joe spinoff Snake Eyes as actor Henry Golding made the announcement today on Instagram that their shoot in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and Tokyo, Japan has wrapped.
GOLDING: “and THAT, is a principal wrap on Snake Eyes ladies and gents. What a crew we had, Vancouver and Japan, you were unstoppable. Thank you for the dedication, this film is going to blow everyone’s socks off. “
The solo movie will focus on the origins of the G.I. Joe member and his falling out with Storm Shadow.
Golding, of course, plays the titular hero Snake Eyes.
The film will also act as a soft-reboot for the franchise with a third main G.I. Joe movie in the works as well.
Paramount Pictures has given Snake Eyes an official release date of October 23rd.
