On Wednesday, filming began in Berlin, Germany on the female-led assassin flick Gunpowder Milkshake led by actress Karen Gillan (Avengers: Endgame, Guardians of The Galaxy). The official Studio Canal Twitter account announced the start of film showing off a set photo in a diner with the slate on the table.

The slate revealed the film’s cinematographer will be Michael Seresin, who has worked on films such as Dawn of The Planet of The Apes, War For The Planet of The Apes, Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban, and Mowgli: Legend of The Jungle.
The rest of the crew includes production designer David Scheunemann (Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde), costume designer Louise Frogley (Quantum of Solace, Iron Man 3, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Spider-Man: Homecoming), and stunt coordinator Laurent Demianoff (Lucy).
HN Entertainment first revealed that Lena Headey (Dredd, Game of Thrones), Chloe Coleman (Big Little Lies, My Spy, Avatar 2), and Ralph Ineson (The Witch, Game of Thrones) would have roles in the film.
Other cast members include Paul Giamatti, Angela Bassett, Michelle Yeoh, and Carla Gugino.
A young woman and her estranged mother that are both assassins must join forces on the run to take down a male-dominated crime syndicate they used to work for.
An assassin named Eva (Gillan) defies Nathan, her boss at The Firm, to rescue a young hostage named Emily (Coleman) from the Korean Mob. Scarlet (Headey), a fellow assassin and the mother of Eva, who had to give up her young daughter when she herself got into trouble. Helps her daughter and young cohort avoid capture or death.
It will be directed by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, the Israeli directing duo behind the foreign language revenge thriller Big Bad Wolves.
Gunpowder Milkshake has yet to land an official release date.
