I’m very excited to see director Guy Ritchie return to the cinematic British criminal underworld with his next film Toff Guys as it’s been a while since we’ve seen him tackle the genre since his movies Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and the less than positively received RocknRolla.

We have learned that stunt coordinator for Toff Guys will be Jason Hunjan, the assistant stunt coordinator on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Ritchie’s upcoming film Aladdin. His various stunt performing credits include Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Ready Player One, Jason Bourne, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Skyfall, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Edge of Tomorrow.

Toff Guys follows a British drug lord who is trying to sell his empire to a group of Oklahoma billionaires. The cast includes Oscar-winner Matthew Matthew, Michelle Dockery, Colin Farrell, Henry Golding, Hugh Grant, Charlie Hunnam, and Jeremy Strong.

I previously revealed on OmegaUndeground that cinematographer Alan Stewart and production designer Gemma Jackson would be part of the film as well ahead of the production start.

Filming is well underway in London and is expected to complete in January-February.

Guy co-wrote the film’s script with Marn Davies and  Ivan Atkinson.

Miramax has yet to give Toff Guys an official release date.
