Writer/director Guy Ritchie has officially announced on his Twitter account via a video message that filming has wrapped on Cash Truck (working title) starring action star Jason Statham.

The action-thriller is a remake of the 2004 French film Le Convoyeur.

Statham stars as H, a cold and mysterious character working at a cash-truck company responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles each week. Weaving through a carefully constructed narrative, the film shifts across timelines and among various characters’ perspectives.

The rest of the cast includes Niamh Algar (Raised By Wolves), Holt McCallany (Alien 3, Fight Club, Mindhunter), and Scott Eastwood (Fate of The Furious, Fury, Suicide Squad, Pacific Rim: Uprising), Jeffrey Donovan (Fargo, Sicario, Sicario: Day of The Soldado), Laz Alonso (Avatar), and Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbor).

Jason and Guy have previously worked together on Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and Revolver.

Next weekend will see the North American release of Ritchie’s latest film The Gentlemen.

A release date and official title for Cash Truck has yet to be announced.
